| It saddens me to list the details of the passing of The Honorable Lt. Governor Catherine Baker Knoll She was the "rock" of our PA Federation of Democratic Women and the inspiration to all of us as women! I remember when I began the Federation 2 years ago, she was so pleased to have us start a club in Blair County...how far we have come to have held the 2008 State Convention here in Altoona. She was so happy that weekend to come and join us. I received a special thank you from her which I will cherish always. I am glad that one of the last events she attended and enjoyed to the fullest was close to her heart...the PFDW! This picture was picked especially for our program book!!! This is the picture on her web page for condolences. I will miss her as a special inspiration , leader, and friend.
